Mold----Knight Anole Care

Once I had a Blue Anole and their was mold in his cage on a peice of grapewood. If that mold could of killed him i dont understand it was green mold and wasnt that big of a spot.

Also on this touchy subject i need Help W/ my knight anole feeding instructions cage sizes all that good stuff I've had him for oh 3-weeks now and hes shed a couple times, i can still see his hip bones and ribs. I think i have fed him right i feed, pinkies, mealworms, bananna, peach . and apple babyfood, i also feed crickets and worms, i stick an occasional housflie in with him but he wont eat them, my other anooles do eat flies though,I have him In a 20 Long tipped up sideways and i have good humidity and a basking and cool area i know my temps are alright but not so sure,i have a blue anole and a big headed green anole in with him, also a tree forg, i have a little waterfall and a good enviorment iuse rocks as a floor ans fake plants, I have 2 live plants and thats all ummmn Somebody post a forums if they can help.

wow, sounds like a nice aquarium... i also have waterfalls ect... there is one thing that bothers me. Kinght anoles find it a habit to EAT your other smaller anoles. if you care about the smaller ones, it would be your best bet to move them to a 20 gallon of their own. i realize it is a bit pricy, but it is unfair to the anoles if they are to be threatened so often. MOLD has something in it, and if the anoles eat it, or injest the spores from it in any way, there is a HUGE risk that they will develope a respritory infection leading to a painfull death. Please let us know if you moved the other anoles to another cage. ALSO, what you said about the Knight feeding, i think that it will gain weight in time. you seem to be doing a goood job in feeding. good luck!
