death of a friend

snakeylo Jun 08, 2007 10:17 PM

I've had Regina for almost twelve years. I got her when she was just two weeks out of the egg. I watched her grow to well over fifteen feet and over one hundred fifty pounds. I know that snakes aren't like other pets but I was attached to her. I lost her to a upper respiratory infection last sat. Although I have many other snakes she will be missed

Sorry to hear about your loss. I know what you mean. I had my burm for only 4 years and she was over 100lbs and 13 ft at the time. Its hard, I think I lost her to the same thing you did. Sorry again.
