candling question

sport72186 Jun 09, 2007 08:41 AM

I have 2 eggs in the incubator. They are 19 days old. I have candled them on day 7 and day 14. they are definitely fertile. I am wondering if you can candle them too much and cause them to fail. I have found it fun to candle once a week to monitor progress but I don't want to kill them. Also, when candling how long is too long to keep the light on the egg. I have been using a mini mag light to candle the eggs. Thanks in advance for all the help.

You could be more patient and just wait!!!!
I know it´s hard but they are not going to hatch sooner by candling them... lol
