A friend from OH came down Monday for his first trip to W. Texas. Monday night we3 hit 277, saw one DOR yearling bull snake around 2AM. The freight train storm which enetered from NM around 8PM hit us at 4AM.

Tuesday killed time at San Felipe Springs in Del Rio, headed west. We hunted Langtry through Palma Draw until around 2am, saw nothing, headed west. 2:10 found a longnose. hunted E. of Sanderson, saw nothing, crashed for the night around 3AM.

Wednesday went to Black Gap. saw 24" suboc, 5' suboc, 3' molossus, 2 hoknose, 1 glossy, 3 W. earless lizards, TMTC male tarantulas, lots of red spotted toads.

Thursday, started in Palma Draw, nunted to Langtry, looped a couple times, then to Sanderson. Saw NOTHING.

Frimday: because of weather decided not to wast time since we had a long drive back to Abilene. We started off south of Coyanosa, hunted N. then E. past Crane, then zig-zagged to Odessa. Saw 1 4' glossy, 1 30" atrox, 1 DOR 32" viridis.

Oh, well. Can't win them all.
