In the wild, they live in tiny burrows, not in large open spaces. Large spaces make them feel exposed and insecure, causing them to stress out.

You're asking for problems and failure by putting it in a giant cage -- especially one that houses a boa as well.

Good lord how many times are you going to ask the same question?!?!?!

Do not put your ball in with your boa - and do not put the baby in a 6 foot cage. Buy it a separate small sterilite container or 10 gallon aquarium.

Well lets see ! Take your 6’ cage and right in the middle dump a large pile of dirt and sand mixed together and gig a small burrow in it then put your Ball in there and see just how much of the cage the Ball will actually use .David of DS Reptile Rescue

A ten gallon costs a whole $12 with a screen top a good $20 bucks total...add in a heat pad and you are still under $50. If you could pay for the ball python, can't you pay $50 bucks (or less if you want to use a sterlite) to house it correctly.

I would recommend though that you stop trying to rephrase the same question, as you know you are going to pull a lot of negative posts your way when you are obviously avoiding the advice of more experienced herpers!

You can get a 16 - 36 qt. sterilite tube for 2-5$ at Big Lots if you have those there and that will lower the cost even more . David of DS Reptile Rescue

I have my baby ball in a 55 gallon tank and it has a few hides and some other things as well.
She seems to be doing fine, and I see her wondering around at night all the time!
She has eaten everytime I have offered her food (once a week) and there doesn't seem to be a problem.
So, as far as housing your baby in a big tank, I think that it's fine as long as you have a good number of hides and the other necessaries.
I'm not sure where the housing with a boa comes in, because you said nothing of the sort in this post, but maybe I missed a different post...
Do not house different snakes together. It's better for each snake to have their own space.

and i just read the link...
yeah, no mixing of snakes..
I wouldn't do it even if they were the same species...
just 'cause they can pick on each other

I tried to help a guy out the other day who said he had Kevin McCurley's book, but didn't want to read it. Sounds like he had an extra $50 that he didn't need, or maybe he just knew how to look at the pics. Who knows? I thought if he didn't want to read a book, then why would he read here? Let's stop answering these dumb questions and talk about serious stuff with people who will listen.

ok I dunno if we are allowed to post these kind of pics, but seems the only way this guy is gonna Look at them is to put them where he does not have to click or copy n paste... so here goes...

Sorry jen I saved them from the link you gave and uploaded from a site I use
