I just got a Gopher snake from a friend who didn't want it anymore. I'm used to giant snakes. this little devil thinks it's a rattlesnake! Personality plus.
The thing is...I have no idea what he'll eat! He refused a rat pup. (live) he acted like it was going to murder him or something! He reared up adn hissed like a rattlesnake. any help would be great. thanks

When I received my sd gopher, it took several days, seven exactly, before she would even look at food. Maybe she just needs to adjust to her surroundings first. Once mine settled, she is eating me out of house and home! Rats, mice, hamsters, you name it she'll eat it! You would think she was a teenage boy! *LOL* good luck.
