Can deardies live on salad and pinkies?

hi, i have been feeding my bearded dragons crickets, worms and salad. I am so tired of crickets every where in my house lol can i just feed them salad and give them pinkies once a week and crickets maybe once a week? They eat the worms, but not as much as they do the crickets.....

SHort answer. No.

Long Answer:

Pinkies, though ok as an occasional treat, are not a good staple for bearded dragons. Too high in fat. Adult dragons can do fine with a few insects every day or a couple feedings of insects per week. However, crickets are not the only good staple insect out there. Several species of roaches are just fine, just read some of the recent past threads about roaches to get an ideal what kinds to use. Silkworms and butterworms are also great staple insects to feed dragons.
