we only picked up a new cage(36" tall x 30" long x 18" deep) and crickets. my wife spent 1/2 hour talking with the people at amazing blue, she wants a sambava. it looks like it will be the first of the year but i'm looking to get a female ambanja, we'll just see how it goes. after we left the show we headed over to the nursery to pick up a ficus, some polished rocks, and some shade cloth for the sides of the cage. it took me a couple hours to set the new cage up but eco is love'n it!

Hey how was the show? Very many tables? Im thinking about driving down from Santa Barbara and possibly picking up a young Jax. Also, were there very many snakes? I want to go but I dont want to drive the 2 hours for a lame show with only a limited selection. Thanks for any info.

I went to the show today. It was alright... I don't know if it would be worth a drive from SB. I saw about 4 chameleon stands (picked up a male rudis ). And I also was looking for a new ball python, there were about 5-6 stands that had ball pythons (not sure what type of snake you're lookin for) there were mostly normals, three stands had morphs (I got a 50% het pieball ) Overall it wasn't that large a show and I personally don't think it would be worth a drive from SB... Have you been to the IRBA San Diego show? That one is worth the drive...

there were lots of snakes. maybe 50 tables. it was a bit smaller then the last show at pomona. if it was me i wouldn't make the drive if i was only looking and not buying.

Thanks for the info. I was looking to maybe get a male Jax and some care supplies but sounds like it isnt worth it. I will hold onto my money and be patient. Were ant frozen rats for sale? that alone might be worth the drive. I still have a couple hours to decide.

No frozen mice, only live ones.
