Right now I am feeding every 5 days. At what weight should I switch to once a week? Thanks, Melisa

It depends on what your objective is. If you just want your snake to be healthy you could feed once a week at any weight, however it will not grow very fast. If you want it to grow more quickly you would need to feed it more often.

I go by how fat they look. When you put her on the floor, does she look plump? Especially down by the tail you can tell when they are getting fat.

I sometimes will feed every 5 days for awhile after they fast, or if they went into shed and took 2 weeks off, I might feed a couple times in a row more often.

I would recommend using common sense and not just a pre-set formula.

depends on the size and age of the snake... if it's a hatchling every 5 days is fine, but you should get on a weekly schedule.
I feed mine every Tuesday...
The prey size should be slightly Smaller than the girth of the widest part of the snake.
