Introducing: TURKEY

IggyDragon Jun 11, 2007 05:30 PM

Hello fellow iguana lovers!

I've been looking for a good iguana forum, thought
I'd give this one a try..

I'd like to introduce you to my 12 year old male green iguana- Turkey

Let's see...he likes bananas, basking on the couch, baths, scratches when
he's shedding, and sleeping on soft things. (preferrably the human's pillows
when gven the opportunity)

He dislikes being moved around, nail trimming time, other males, going to
the vet, and anything I may give more attemtion to for a fraction of a second
that's not him.

Turkey and I have basically grown up together. He's going for that 30 year
old record- In fact I'm pretty sure he's set on out-living me

Thanks for reading!

WOW, he looks amazing! Truly one of the most spectacular I've seen, along with Dexter, see the post below about him by sideman17. You two have some SEXY igs! lol

Turk and I thank you!
(well, actually, I wont be relaying the compliment to Turkey because
his head is big enough already!)

Picture: "No Turk, I don't want 'seafood'. Now swallow that banana already!"

Thanks

Yeah, I did reply to that post. I don't think I got through much.
With so many great lizard options nowadays, there's no need for
first timers to start with a iguana. My first pet was a newt

Congratulations! 12 years is a long time for igs. I hope Turkey lives past 30. Here is our 6 year old female ig, who likes to hang around in her garden, head bobbing everyone, to let them know its HER yard!
