Mom rat bit me, what to do with her??

rainbowsrus Jun 11, 2007 05:37 PM

Oh Yeah, applied "the rules" to the fullest extent!!!!!

don't produce - fed off
kill babies - fed off
jumpy - fed off
get sick - fed off
bite me - whacked on cement, then fed off

Fostered out her babies (they looked a bit scrawney like she wasn't doing well feeding them) and applied the last (primary) rule. Amber (BCI) thought she was tasty.

First you should separate her in a tub of her own with soothing lighting and aroma therapy.

When she calms down, hand feed her seventeen times a day with sunflower seeds and raisins.

Take her to the Vet and have a CAT scan done of her lower back. I know that when my lower back is sore, I can be a PITA too.

When she is all better, retire her.

DeMak

P. S. Don't worry about the cost of the CAT scan. Think of all the money your saving on shipping!

On the CAT scan, just have 'em use a tomcat, its cheaper.

Or just do a dog scan, my dog caught and killed a wild rat in the back yard just the other day. Was amazing how fast she lunged, bit and dropped the rat, then danced around it watching to see if it moved. Instincts were telling her kill it but don't get bit in the process.

In the belly of a snake?

IMO, just guessing, there gonna find severe cranial injuries consistant with being whacked on cement. Like I said, just a guess?

Don't do the cat scan in your case. The DMV will want you to file an accident report (on purpose report?)

I didn't hit her with my Mack truck.

I just gave her a little itsy bitsy "attitude adjustment"

No more attitude out of her....ever!!
