For those that double-clutch, do you all reintroduce the same male or do you throw in a different one if you want different traits?
Thanks!

I think it is risky to use differen't males. I have seen sperm retention here in my collection so now I only breed females with one male of one type. The males can breed anything they want.I almost didn't get any eggs from a Sulfur Lavender, he is a male.......so no "he" won't lay them obviously but I could not be certain anything he bred that had been bred in previous seasons would create definite het for Sulfur Lav. Thankfully a virgin female gave me a small clutch, so now she is his woman for life.
I think it is best to keep focused on very specific projects, and it's cool in a way that it kind of means you will just have to get more snakes.......what a shame huh?

Why ? You can have 2 fathers of a clutch but only 1 father of each egg . David of DS Reptile Rescue
