Payment plans Q>

gmherps Jun 11, 2007 09:11 PM

This is just an observation on my part that strikes me rather, oddly.

Question:
Is it really a "payment plan" if the "seller" says they want their $$ within 30 days?

Example: Payment plans available, of 30 days.

What?

I understand that it's the sellers animal(s) but I believe the seller would be apt to sell, via payment plan(s), some animals if these plans were extended.

That's just me and what I do. I usually give 90-180 days, but then again, that's just me.

Restating the question:

Is 30 days a payment plan?

From a whole slew or REALLY bad experiences with payment plans, I won't even do them anymore, but if I did, it would definitely be a short one. It seems that once the first or second payment is made, buyers are like kids with ADHD; anything shiny attracts their attention, everything but making their payments on time and sticking with the payment plan. Bottom line, sellers snakes, sellers rules.

I agree Greg,

I think people just worry about the buyer just not sending anymore payments...what could be done to prevent that?

Honesty and integrity seem to be a rare comodity these days.

Hope you are doing fantastic!!
