Ok well ive been thinking of getting one ive delt with large boas before....I would get a male....some questions
1. max size and weight for males?
2.How fast do they grow
3.What doe they eat in detail if some can please esxplain a diet throught its life id love it
4.Are they good pets, tame, eat well adapt well

My male is 5 years old and around 9 feet and 25 pounds....sexually mature males start fasting in their 2nd or 3rd winter. My male fasted 7 months this past breeding season. standard Colombian BCI setup should be fine. Anacondas definitely do NOT need soaking tub... a small drinking container is fine though they should have moderate to high humidity during the spring and summer. Hope this helps ya.
so there know to go off feed for a while at a time?
yeah mine do, especially males, I had a female go off feed for 6 months, got me all excited, but got nothing out of it
