Hey is there any of you who are going to the NY metro show on sunday July 8?th Has anyone been there before?
I'm thinking of going but am wondering how many torts they will have. I get tired of looking at snakes after about an hour.

Hi. I have been to the NY Metro Reptile Expo many times, and there are usually more tortoises and turtles at that show than at most others which I have attended. I have seen a wide variety of pretty healthy tortoises there.
Where do you live? I lived in CT for 35 years before moving to GA 4 years ago, and I may be able to recommend some other ideas for you to try locally if you want to see and/or buy a good variety of tortoises.
I live in NH on the maine border town of Portsmith. there is a fine show in Manchester NH I have been to but I apriciate the info on the NY show
Have you visited NERD in Plaistow, NH? It is right on the MA border north of Haverhill, MA. Kevin has a lot of reptiles and takes better care of them than most store owners. He usually has some very nice tortoises and turtles. Site with directions, etc. is: www.newenglandreptile.com
