Corn Laying Eggs

MikeRusso Jun 12, 2007 04:44 PM

These photos show a good example of both good & bad eggs.

Pic 1 - 8 Good Eggs

Pic 2 - You can see that the last 2 eggs out are a bit smaller, yellowish and have a wet look to them.. which = bad eggs!

pic 3 - after removing the 8 good eggs..this is the female with 15 bad eggs..

It always stinks losing eggs, but, i figured some of you could benifit from seeing the difference between good and bad eggs.

This is my first clutch of 07.. I hope it is my last clutch of duds!!!

Mike,

That's a sweet looking snake. Is it an Amber? That's also a nice photo representation comparing what good eggs vs. bad eggs look like - better than most books.

I got her from a friend who told me she is an Ultra Amber... But, I know there is some debate on that being a true morph .. Does anyone that may know corn morphs better than me have an opinion on that?

Also, thank you for the complement on the comparison photo's. I posted the pix figuring i may as well help others learn what bad eggs look like rather than just tossing the eggs in the trash.

Here are mine. I went a few days before I relaised ALL of Molly's eggs were bad. Wish someone would have posted this 3 weeks ago
