PIcs of my little ones

rynoguru Aug 17, 2003 12:36 AM

Hey all,

I have been cruising the forums for a few months now, and have had my BRBs for a little over a month now. They were purchased from Tim Frazier (illianareps) in July, and Tim has been very helpful with all the endless questions that I have sent.

They were originally each in a 20 gal terrarium, but after a small bout with dehydration, they are now in small rubermaids, and are doing great. They have each shed in the last few weeks. The male will eat anything you put in front of him (live and f/t), and the female has eaten a live mouse. I'm gonna give her a few more meals, and then switch over to f/t.

Here's some pics.

Enjoy!

- Ryan

Male
Name: Trogdor (pronounced like Frog Door, but with a T)
Born: Sometime last April
Color: Expected to be red when older

For some reason, last time he ate he wrapped on the side of his feeding rubbermaid, and this is my favotrite pic of him.

Here is a "normal" pic of him in his rubbermaid, upset over being photographed yet again. HAHA!!

Female:
Name: Goofy
Born: July 1 (I think, maybe a day earlier)
Color: Expected to be orange when older.

Pic this evening while she was out during cage cleaning.

Pic of her in her rubbermaid, also a little upset over being repeatedly photographed. ;-p

Beautiful animals! I too recieved my BRB from Tim Frazier. He's an awesome guy with incredible animals! My BRB is a month younger than yours, i still haven't named him! Nothing seems good enough!

Congrats on the beautiful animals, and nice photos!

Hi Carole,
You should post pics of your baby! How long have you had him?

I did a bunch of research when I was naming my new babies (Nyoka - means 'snake' in African, and Diablito is my Honduran milksnake - it means "little Devil" in spanish).

Some other names I liked were "Naga" or "Nagendra". It means snake, too.
"Niji" is rainbow in Japanese.
"Zuri" is beautiful in African.
And "Sarpa", which means snake in Nepali.

Have fun with him! :D

Hello there!

I have tossed around a few names, but nothing seems to quite 'fit'. :P Oh well, i'm not in a big rush, not like the snake knows any different!

I have posted a few pictures of my brb on here, but just for the heck of it, here are a couple of my favorite shots.....
