I have change what fish I eat based on the status of the species. I also support a marine santuary, as I love the sea animals (then again most mid-westerners are facisnated with the ocean & ocean animals). Humans have been the most destructive species on earth.
As far as snakes goes - by breeding here we are reducing the pressure to smuggle and even import snakes into the US. Plus, in the wild one from a litter would be luckey to become an adult in the wild - The breeders here are much better than that - nearly all survive!

At the rate we are destroying this planet evolution will cease to exist, slightly prior to this time, a bottleneck will occur, halting evolution, and causing a state of involution to materilize.
