Hi--Just wondering, on average, after the eyes clear from blue, will a shed occur?

Thanks

would you recommend feeding now or waiting for the sshed?

sure you can try, it may not eat. But no harm would come to your snake if it did.

Some snakes eat in shed most don't. If your in a hurry to grow this snake then try it.
How old is this snake?

Only thing you should be aware of when feeding a snake during a shed is that they can’t make out anything but movement so be mindful when you’re feeding because he might go after your fingers instead of the rodent. My Kingsnake and JC Python eat no matter what but my RedTail Boa doesn’t like to feed when he is shedding. Depending on the size of the snake and how aggressive it is you could try using feeder tongs or gloves.

If you plan to feed it before it sheds, I would reccommend a small food item so as not to create a any "buldge" in the snake. You're probably just better off waiting for it to shed, really.

Good luck!
