What kind of corn is this?

JenHarrison Jun 14, 2007 12:42 AM

I keep ball pythons but have been contemplating getting a few corns for quite awhile now -- to start, I want to keep just one to see how well I like them. I have the chance to adopt this one from a local rescue, but it doesn't look entirely like a cornsnake to me. I posted it on another forum, and a few people think it's a cornsnake and grey ratsnake hybrid. Thoughts?

Dunno about the hybrid part, looks slighty different in structure from what I've seen in corns but not I couldn't say for sure.

Also unless the coloration is from some hybrid it looks like a anery or ghost(anery hypo) to me although the saddles are very frosted/speckled.

Curious to see what those with more experience with corns and hybrids think.

Sean.

Looks too heavy bodied to be a corn snake to me. Perhaps a hybrid with some bull snake in it?
