One herper came to the show in San Antonio this past weekend and told us that he spoke PERSONALLY with Gov. Perry on Thursday, June 7th. They know each other, he called Gov. Perry on his cell phone and they had a conversation for about an hour. (This is someone we have no reason to doubt)

Of interest is the fact that Gov. Perry said that he was not aware of ANY controversy over H.B. 12!!! He claimed to know nothing about all of the emails, faxes and telephone calls made to his office by so many herpers.

It will be interesting to find out if Gov. Perry's staff really informs him about controversial Bills pending through emails, faxes & telephone calls. OR is the Governor just sticking his head in the sand and claiming "I know nothing" when, in fact, he is fully aware of what is going on?

That he is aware now and has been for a week..

All the more reason for us to maintain contact with his office via fax and/or phone. Let him know that we care about the issue and would like his help fixing it.
