I am in the process of rescuing a Savu Island Python. Does anyone know what their life span is? I was told that she is about 3 years old. I should be getting her this weekend, along with her 50 gallon tank. Also any suggestion on this breed of snake?

Its a female then? If so she should be somewhat all dark and the males usually have some white gray peppered scales on them sometimes black. They dont grow very large, normally around 3 to 4 feet. But sometimes they will get larger than that just like any snake. Makes sure you put enough bedding down, like aspen, so the snake can have enough room to burrow.
