fastjunkie Jun 14, 2007 08:09 PM

Hope this is O.K. to post in this forum!!! I live in Cincy,OH.and was thinking of attending the next Hamburg show.Upon further internet searches and so forth,I noticed there's 2 shows in Hamburg,PA....The Northern Berks and the Northwestern Berks. One is held monthly and the other looks to be bi-monthly.Which one is the show thats always mentioned on all the forums?..is there a difference?Which one is bigger.I looked at both websites and they both look huge. Why is there 2 of them?
Thanx,
Mike

Mike,

It is the same show, same location, similar breeders, but different coordinator. Marty Peidl runs the one show, and Denise Readinger (recently took over for her late brother, David) runs the other. There are shows coming up in August, September, and October. To the best of my knowledge there has never been a September show at Hamburg until this year. It is well worth attending, just make sure you find a breeder who is honest and represents their animals accordingly (really c.b.b. vs c.h., etc.). Finally, don't forget to bring a nice wad of cash, haha.

Hamburg's a great show. Seeing all the venomous makes the 2 hour drive worth while for me. Speaking of hot, it's generally hot as hades in that show , and very crowded, but still a good time. Picked up a wc adult female sorong for $180 there last week so that made my day.
