Female 06 Agrentine.

I don't know what it is about this species but they have always been one of my favorites.
Picked up her and another female from a Chicagoland Pet Wholesaler last fall.
Shhhh don't tell anyone but I only paid $100 each for them.
I would really like to find out who actually produced them.
I just like this picture of her..
I will be adding a pair of 04 Het T+ to the collection next month
(please don't ask me to list all of them, I'm currently just under 60 snakes and still adding).

Enjoy,
Chris

Nice BCO you've got there. I've got a pair myself, and will hopefully be adding an unrelated male or another pair this year to the group just to get some good outcrossed bloodlines when I decide to breed for some baby BCO's of my own on day.

Glad to see more people are working with them even though they can get a bit larger than most of the Red Tail species. I tried to get a male sib when I got these two females but the only male they had at the time had already sold. I've seen references on the classifieds for 07' males and I was close to getting one but got a good deal on a pair of 04' 100% het for T pos. I should have these next month and hopefully be pairing them up next season. I'll definately be holding back a few of the T pos babies to breed with these females as well as a few projects I have in mind.

Here is a picture of a few yearlings RTB that I have just for copmarison of the difference in contrast.

Pictured snakes are:
1.1 Het Stripe and Albino
0.1 Het Albino Pos Het Anery (the light one)
0.1 Argentine
Not Pictured: (you can see some of these under the photos if you search on hiss_n_herps photos.
1.0 04' Salmon (Probably Super since he luuks more like a Blood Boa)
0.1 05' Sunkist (Orange Hypo)
1.0 04' Albino Striped
0.5 04' Normal Het Stripe and Albino
1.1 04' Bolivian
0.1 06' Argentine
0.1 07' Anery 66% pos Het Snow.
I think that's all of the boas..
Enjoy,
Chris

Man, I hope those hets go for you next season. There definitely needs to be more of those produced. I do think there is something spectacular about a full grown argie. My female is only pushing about 5 ft, but her mom was "747" who was a big 8-9 foot argentine that some around this forum might remember. I'm not sure who owns her now, but she was HUGE. The breeder I bought my pair from brought her along to the show where I bought the pair and was able to see her firsthand. Truly impressive.

Anyway, congrats on getting those hets. Good luck with the pairing.

Thats a great looking snake. Argentines are great snakes that get little respect. Here is a pic of my 8ft female.

It's good to see more people getting into Argentines.

Definitely post pics of the T when you get them.

Here's a couple of pics of my 1.1
