feeding baby boas

boafanatic7 Jun 15, 2007 04:52 PM

This is going to be my first time feeding new born baby boas. I fed them all live fuzzies yesterday, and aobut 80% of them took. The rest i left them in the whole day, but they didn't eat.

I took out the fuzzies. But when should i reintroduce the fuzzies again? Should I wait a couple of days, or should i just try again when i re-feed the others?

thanks for any info.

i feed mine every week, have they done their first shed yet? Some will eat at different times and i would wait a few days to feed the slackers they will catch up. i would even offer FT so they won't get use to live.

Out of a litter of 16 all of mine have eaten at least once (and held it down) except for three. There were a couple of them who refused their first meal and took the second etc....I waited a couple of days before trying again.
