more. I would say I keep mostly the larger pythons ( african rock, reticulated, and burmese) but I have snakes from the colubrid, boa, and python groups. I am also very fortunate to have bred snakes from all those groups. Only boa's I have bred at this point are Brazilian rainbow boas. BCI are kinda out of reach for me at the moment, 2 females usually fail to produce offspring. usually ? doh! hehe. I do have a pair of dumerils that have produced several litters, but that was when a friend was keeping them, so that does not really count, although I do sometimes live vicariously through others If I had something to do with the breeding's. I have consulted with multiple friends and helped them achieve success with various species. Made me feel good to be the "guy" they came too for advice and or "drop offs" they couldn't get to eat. I specialize in acclimating wild caught reptiles and amphibians. Not too useful in this day and age, but it does comes in handy. Many a wild caught ball python have passed threw my hands back in the 80's / 90's. Actually I have 5 of my best friends Ball Pythons residing with me for the last year, problem feeders, I gave them back once, and he gave them to me again out of frustration. Now they are here to stay, but yet, still his. One of the albino males will NOT be converted to dead, first time this ever happened to me, he did eat dead on several occasions, but every trick in the book isn't working. He eats, so I decided that is good enough for me. I will fight with him about it some other time.
When I was younger, I also used to search pet stores for the worst looking snakes I could find and rehab them. You learn a lot doing that for ten years. I wish it was for a "humanitarian" type of reason, it was more of a challenging myself kind of thing. It feels good to turn $hit to shineola.

It doesn't matter what motivation you find for good acts, as long as you find them!
