Well, my beardie has been gaping recently. I know its alright, but its like it just suddenly happened one day. It was right after I mad a few changes to my setup and gave him a bigger basking site. But I'm asking anyway, LOL, is this normal and should I just forget about it?

As long as you know that your temperatures are within range and its got a cool end to retreat to, I wouldn't worry about it. You may have made the basking site/area larger to where more of its body is getting heated at the same time, which is the way its supposed to be.

Just make sure to keep it hydrated.

Have a good one!
