It depends on what strain the White Albino is. If both are Clark Strain, you will get all Albinos potentially in White, Lavender and Purple phase. If the White is an Amel, then you will get double hets.

hey patrick, another question for ya. say you have two double hets out of the mentioned albinos and you breed them together, what would you get type 1, type 2, or a mix of both? starts getting really confusing to me. hahahah. i mean if it is het for two different types of albinism and so is its mate then what do you get? has it been done yet?

Thanks, DJ

Breeding the double hets should in theory get you some 66% possible DH, some Clark Albinos poss het Amel, some Amels poss het Clark strain and some....(insert Amel x Clark cross name here).

I don't think it has been done and I don't know what you would get out of the two genes mixing, but if anyone knows, I would sure like to hear! I think that a Lavender or a Purple "Amel" would be pretty cool to see because the Amels tend to get whiter and whiter as they age, losing the yellow. If a Purple or Lavender had that trait, the losing the yellow part, I think that would make quite a beautiful animal.
