kurma Aug 17, 2003 07:55 AM

I just wanted to be ready I got them from LLLreptile and will set both up right when I get them just to test them and then turn them off till the first breeding at which time they will go one again. I got one for male eggs and one for female eggs even do the female eggs will go with the male after 14 dyas and I'm only incubation maybe 1/4-8 to be male.

are you incubating albinos? if not, the tremper method is kind of a lie. it will make them look as if they are hypo, when in fact, they are not. but if you are doing albinos, its beautiful. it gives us a T- looking albino when we can't have a real one.

there are 2 types of albino possible in reptiles. t- and t . so far, all the albino strains are t . t means that they can produce melan, even though they are albino, which is what gives it the browns and pinks. a t- albino cannot produce melan, and would be white and yellow, just like an albino incubated with tremper's method. an albino ball python is t-, and a lavender albino BP is t . make sense?
