I just found out that because my parents are getting divorced and my stepfather moving out and not wanting to take any of his snakes, I will be getting to keep Copper, my female that produced Zeek and the eyeless baby as well as 5 others last year. My stepfather and I fought a lot over what to do with the babies and the money from selling them because although I care for all the snakes and call them all "mine" he technically owns Copper because he was the one who purchased her from EBV 9 years ago. We ended up splitting the profits, 70/30 in my favor.
Although the situation is very unfortunate that my mother's heart is broken and she is not at all happy, I am glad that my stepfather is doing the best thing for the snakes and leaving them with me. His hypo red tail boa will be sold to a new home because I cannot manage her (she doesnt like me) and Copper will be staying with me. Yay.
