Hello... I'm new.

Wallbanger26 Jun 16, 2007 06:27 PM

My name is Wayne and I started collecting/breeding ball pythons 18 months ago. My collection is growing rapidly and I try constantly to add new morphs and hets to my collection. I want to become more involved with this forum, so I thought a proper introduction would be appropriate. Last year I had two clutches, one (6.2 granite luckily) from a wildcaught gravid girl that I purchased under the impression it was CH and raised, the other was from my pastel x normal (4.3 pastels, 0.2 really nice normals). I had 4 clutches so far this year and 4-8 more coming. One already hatched, 2.0 Normals and 2.2 Pastels. The other three clutches are in the incubator, 6 egg Pastel x Normal (one egg's going bad), 8 egg Cinny or Spider x Normal, and 4 egg Cinny x Normal. This is my current collection:

1.0 05 Breeder Pastel
1.0 05 Breeder Spider
1.0 06 Breeder Cinnamon
1.0 06 Mojave

0.1 05 Pastel (900g)
0.2 05 (1200g) Albino both possibly gravid,
one with pinstripe male
one with clown male
0.3 06 Pastels (my hatchlings)
0.2 07 Pastels (my hatchlings)
0.2 06 Granites (my hatchlings)

1.1 06 100% Het Genetic Stripe

0.1 1500g Possible Het Pied (has pied markings, unproven)
Gravid with Pastels

0.1 2000g Black Back
Gravid with Spiders
0.6 2000 Normals
2 Gravid with Cinnies

0.11 1000-2000g Normals
2 possibly Gravid w/ Pastels

0.2 06 Normals (my hatchlings, pastel siblings)

In conclusion and simply stated, I have
5.32 Ball Pythons
18 unhatched Ball Python eggs
Oh, and I'm snake sitting a Redtail Boa!
Not to mention
2.0 Cats
1.0 Lapso Apso (however that's spelled)
1.1 Boxers
180g Salt water Reef Fish Tank
75g Salt water trigger fish tank

I know this was alot of information but I try to be thorough. I would like to post pictures of one of my Pastel hatchlings from this year. It has a really cool and different look to it and I think you guys would appreciate it. So before I try to post any pics and screw it up, can some one please tell me how to do it?

Thanks Ahead of Time,

Wayne

Thanks. I sold her two brothers, but I'll post picks of her sister later. I have three holdbacks from last year too with the same parents, but none of them look the same.

What do the parents of the Pastel look like, that is a very cool Pastel!

Here are the best pics available of the father (not the mother he's breeding), the entire clutch, and the mother (on her clutch last year. I don't take alot of pics, so these will have to do.

You have a sweet collection for only being in the hobby for 18 months! The ball bug has bit you big time.

The pic of your pastel shows you also have good taste in balls - she's very nice. Good luck and keep us posted about your new hatchlings and those clutches that haven't pipped yet.
