I can offer you a P thalassinus care

Oh yes!
Thank you very much. That'll help me out immensely. I figure if I get these guys down then maybe one day I can try thalassinus. But I really like the mearnsi. I've been missing out I guess.... thanks John!

I have always loved these guys too, something pretty NEAT about them. I saw a couple years ago that SunDial was working with them, but never saw any CB's from them (Yet) and I have always looked in the classifieds to see if I could get any but don't see them there very much either.

I wish you well with them, and PLEASE post the pics, I would be interested in seeing them

Hey phil, I have a trio of these guys and they make great pets. They do really well in captivity and mine have even become a lot less skitish. Hopefully I will have eggs soon. -Travis

Hey man,

Thats great that you have success with them. What kind of set-up do you use? What sort of lighting fixtures? Optimum temps? haha. Lots of questions. I was thinking about using a screen cage for mine when I get them so they can climb as much as they want. Let me know man. Either here or by PM. Thanks a lot.

Hey all,

got my camera back and here are some pics of that herping trip.

and here's a Desert Iguana that was one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) that I've ever seen

Of course I get a shot of him with creosote blocking his eye.....ugh....

and finally him in hand.

hope you enjoyed. Thanks to all of you who gave me help.

regards,
-Phil

VERY nice shots, they are really awesome little lizards, quite colorful .

I'm very impressed also with that super handsome iggy, not only big, but very lightly colored, whitish head/face, very pretty critter, one of the nicest I have seen.
