one more....
Hey, I have also done some summer hunting with a little succes. My last trip was Tuesday and we found 3 timbers and 1 copper. The trip before that was the weekend of Hamburg and we found 4 timbers and 8 coppers as far as hots go. This is my first attempt at posting a picture so it might not work. This is a dark phase timber from the Hamburg weekend.

Would you care to give a general locality on the snake? That's a VERY yellow timber... most of the ones I've seen from my area of the country have more of a brownish cast to them...
thanks for sharing the pictures....

Those are New Jersey locality Timbers...... They were caught on my uncles property...... I guess I catch so many because there is a den site right on his land.....LOL...Atleast that is one den site that will never be destroyed...... Its on farm land that can not be sold to build houses.....
It looks like they're certainly doing well in New Jersey. I'd like to find a snake that good looking around here so I could get a few pictures and let the snake go on its merry way.... it is also good that the den is more or less protected from development.... thanks again for the response...
