Breeding a Western Fox Snake

SERRASOMETHING Jun 17, 2007 03:50 AM

I have seen the male and female go at it a few times, male grabbing the back of the neck and locking up for a good 10 minutes at a time.

I have them both in a 55 gallon right now.

I have 2 29 gallons, I need to know if I should seperate them and exactly what type of enclosure to build for the femails eggs.

Thank you much,

Rick

I just use any type of appropriately sized bowl or dish and fill it with damp moss...a little vermiculite under the moss is good too...this works well for any egg laying species...
