The female lavender that looked to be clutching a second time on her own did. She laid at least one infertile egg, it was very small in size - maybe 1/4 the size of the eggs fertile clutch she laid. It was clearly infertile.
It's possible she laid more than one and consumed the others, I only found one egg. It has been many hours and I think that's it - so either she laid a single infertile egg or she laid more and ate the others.
