What type of gecko is this?

zampano23 Jun 17, 2007 02:10 PM

bought a leopard gecko this week and it was labeled as a leucistic leopard gecko, which i really don't think it is... this gecko has a really weird pattern which i haven't seen before and i looked around online a bit to see if i could find any similar morphs but i couldn't. the gecko has a white base with burgundy splotches on top and very dark eyes, almost black. if anyone knows quite a bit about leopard geckos and/or think they know white type of leopard gecko this is, please let message or email me right away!!

It's known as a patternless. There are a couple varities, not sure which one you have. And I may be wrong, but I do believe the patternless were known as leucistic for a period of time. Hope this helps.

I also have a juvenile (older - about 5 months old) patternless that has a faint pattern. I've seen pictures of them before and from what I can tell. they're still considered paternless

yup, he/she is a patternless or luecistic. i think i spelled that wrong. but anyways this is one of my babies and his mother. when it gets older the pattern will fade and look like the picture of this adult gecko.

From the pictures, it looks like a Mack Snow Patternless. Without knowing the linage, it would have to be bred to prove it.
