Ever heard of this?

I have a corn that started to lay several days ago, it layed one egg and then stopped. I've been watching her and I thought it looked like she was going to shed because her skin was becoming darker. I took her out of the box today and she was paralyzed from the last egg down. There were a total of 4 eggs in her. I aspirated the eggs after attempting to massage them out but in my estimation it looks like the blood flow was somehow limited or even stopped to the last one third of her body and the tissue is dying or has died. Thanks. Kevin

Yes, i had one do the same thing last season. For one reason or another she died shortly after i found her paralyzed. I cut her open and was able to salvage 1 egg which hatched a perfect Sunglow motley that i would not trade for anything. You are not alone, sometimes i guess these things happen.

You know, I thought about cutting the eggs out but thought I might be able to salvage the snake. Instead, no snake or no eggs. Well actually I did get the first egg she laid and hopefully that will hatch. Kevin
