Here's two hondos getting ready to give me some eggs.

The smaller of the two is a double het for hybino that was bred to my tangerine albino male. Should be some nice tangerine albinos from that pairing.

The larger snake is a beautiful hypo female in pre-egg lay shed from Randy Whittington. I have high hopes for this clutch and given how swollen she is, I should. She was breed to a hypo male from Randy as well. Last year she laid 10 slugs and one good egg so pretty much anything would be an improvement for her. I did not double clutch her last year to try and improve her output this year.

Hey Rob, I hope you get a nice clutch from each. Sorry to hear about the bad clutch last year but hopefully she will give you a nice fat healthy clutch this year. Her mother puts out 12 or 13 eggs a clutch each year. Randy

Thanks Randy. I chalked last year up to just bad luck. We all get it no matter how nice the snake seems to be. My guess was the male didn't throw great sperm the times he was in with her -he was breedig other females as well. This female I got from you is so clean and healthy I can't help but think she'll reward my patience this year.
