Looking for a feeding, breeding, ect care sheet.......more................>

Thanks to ALL of you who've answered my thousand "newbie" questions.I'd like to learn more bout lighting & breeding. I read to use Calsi sand..for example. Another page said not to due to fecal impaction. I knew regular sand causes this problem,I didn't think Calsi sand did
Another page said you did not have to cycle BD's. Then again, the next page I went to said to cycle them for 2 months(prior to breeding). Also I read to feed em greens, but not to babies. How old or long does a BD have to be to be offered greens?
And as far as those lil' thin books on BD's for $8.99 @ the local pet shop...forget it ! I'd like to keep, breed & keep my BD's as healthy as possible. That's why I'm looking for people who have BD's. Not some lil' book a guy was hired to write. Thanks to all of you. Dave
p.s. Also you can e mail me with this one....Who has the best quality Criks (online)best prices? The best I've found was $15.95 for 1/2 size per 1,000 shipped.

Here in the UK I use washed play sand, its cheap, clean and very fine, in my experience of breeding Beardies I have never had an impaction.
I feed my babies greens from about 3 days old. Its not that you are not supposed to feed them greens its that they rarely take to it. I find if you start them on them young enough and give them a good spray then they should eat thier greens. Greens are good for them, someone may dispute that but I have never had a problem with feeding them greens ever. I buy bags of mixed greens (no iceburg lettuce) that include all sorts of lettuce, herbs and stuff like that, I cut them up quite small after giving them a good wash.

Buy "The Bearded Dragon Manual." It is co written by Bob Mailloux, the owner of sandfire dragon ranch and pioneer of breeding dragons in the states. It is not your average "pet store thin book."
