I knew someone would be asking that and I should have said when I posted it. Sorry. That snake was caught by a dude named Colin (Collin sp?) He is from California. He was in room 9 at the Outback Oasis next to me. We were in Rm. 8. He caught that male at 3.5 mile West Sanderson at dusk, then either the next night or two nights later, he caught a female very close to what that male looks like. He caught both of them at this cut. I do not know his last name. I am sure he will pop up on the forum soon. He has a sign on name but I can't remember what that was either. Old age I guess. That's about all I can tell you.

I believe that was Collin Smith. Super nice guy and funny as hell.

That sounds right. I am sure he told me that too. I suck with names until I get to know people. I am still trying to remember what he posted as. I hope I never get too old to idntify alterna. I might forget what they look like and pick up an atrox or something.

Glad he was able to find that, I have to admit that I like the variety that Sanderson has to offer...

although I'm not sure sveryone would agree with the nice guy part. In 2004, when it was a zoo in Sanderson, a buddy and I were not very nice to people. When you drive from Cali your priorities shift from being a decent guy to finding snakes, or at least mine do. I think I only pissed off one guy badly, but he found 8 snakes the next year, so I'm sure he's over it.
