incubation question

hmj75 Jun 19, 2007 08:55 AM

Hi i assume that you guys are incubating the eggs with a closed container with no holes. How often do you open it to get fresh air in there?

Some people do provide some breathing for the eggs, and keep high humidity in the incubator.

But I do it w/ no holes. Once a week or so I remove the saran wrap from the top and wave my hand over to mix the air.

That's with Lampropeltis and Elgaria eggs, I assume it would work for Pantherophis eggs as well.
