Question about Animal Plastic heat cable

hi guys can someone tell me if you need a thermostat to heat youre animal plastic's economy rack, or do the heat cables run at a safe and sufficient temperature? i should be getting mines soon so i wana know.

You should really use a thermostat with anything. I do have some heat rope, and it gets pretty hot.

I believe that in their instuctions they say that a proportional thermostat is a must. I use a helix and it works fine.
