temperature changes in incubation

i know this is not good , but to what extent ? weve been havin crazy temperature changes and its hard to keep my house at a steady temperature . its only gone up to about 88 and only dowqn to about 78 , but mostly stays in between 82-84
i have no clue what to do besides order a incubator asap but money is tight .
what defects will i possibly have to look forward to ?

Mine fluctuate pretty much like yours do and they all hatch fine. I've got some temps as high as 87 this year but normally it's between 78 and 84.

I have a yellow rat who will eat rats once every 6-10months as she has a taste for chicks and a male who will eat only mice.

It has been recomened to me to breed rats/mice/gerbils for food for my snakes is this the ideal thing due to my snakes feeding habit.

Please advice
