Eric -

Nice looking lepidus. The Iraan locality is one of my favorites. They have beautiful and contrasting colors. Congrats!

Also, Guadalupe Mountains in New Mexico are the northern part of the subspecies range. Not sure exactly where Iraan is in relation, but I know if I head straight east to Texas there is no habitat for them!

Erik,
Iraan is south of Midland/Odessa. This area is most northern for lepidus in that part of Texas but far south of the lepidus found in the Guadalupe and Hueco Mtns. Speaking of which, I'm going to be in Roswell, NM next week to see family and would love to see lepidus from the Guadalupes. I'm going to head down and take the family to the Caverns and go out one or two nights. Can you tell me where my best chances are? Are lepidus found in the sitting bull falls area?
