Has there just been a lot more people then usual that purchase beardies from a pet store and the babies start twitching and rolling around with symptoms of calcium deficiency in two days of being home? In the last month I've seen this an awful lot more then usual. I wonder what pet shops, and what areas these baby beardies are coming from? Seems it's just happening way to much lately. PLEASE purchase from a reputable breeder that is giving proper supplementation to their babies, or at least giving the customers the right info. This is just happening way too much. If you do buy from a pet store find out where they came from, and if they need supplements or any special care. If they say nothing about supplementing their diets, and give you the right info on temps to provide for them. Run the other way.

i come ofthend in several petshops and i see them ofthend sell beardies.
atleast they telling the people they need uvb/uva light and dustings.
but i know lot of stores who not give that info.
and then problems can start.
also people not read enough before they buy a beardie.
i made the same mistake.
i buy a beardie because the owner of a petshop told me they r very easy to keep.
after big trouble i end up here 3 years ago and then i saw what a bad info i got from the petshop.
so i think both fault i not got enough info readed,and petshop gave bad advice.
also this time of year many people buy a beardie ,thats why its always bussy round this time on forum.
