Questions about variables

wvherp Jun 19, 2007 06:52 PM

I have an '05 milk snake phase Thayeri that is about two feet long, feeding every 5-6 days (ravenously, I might add) and may be ready to breed next spring. I am looking for a mate for him. Any suggestions on where I may find one?

It can be tough sometimes buying adult thayeri as you never know what might be in the mix, alot of people like to mix things with them because of how variable they are, which means they get a crazier outcome than lets say mixing with a 5050 cal king, there are reputable breeders out there, but they generally dont sell adults. your best bet, atleast in my opinion would be to buy a young one from a well known breeder and then raise it up to an adult, yeah it will take longer, but if you are interested in breeding thayeri then it would be your best bet.
