The sambava and ambanja are not close in color at all, I would say the nosy be and ambanja are close in color, but not sambava. The sambava color in non-excited colors is light green body with dark red bars, when fired up there body can be orange/yellow body with blood red bars and yellow/red/orange around the head. The ambanja, has a few different color forms, blue bar, red bar, purple bar. All have a blue or blue/green body color with dark blue/red/purple bars depending on the location, but most if not all have red in the bars, when in non-excited colors, when fired up the colors get brighter, it just depends on the bloodline, and most will have some yellow/red color around the eyes and face, that just depends on the locale the parents/bloodline came from. Both are very beautiful animals, I guess it comes down to your color preference, I have a sambava and would probably pick a sambava over an ambanja, but that is just my personal preference. You will have fun with your Nosy Be, they are great, one of the best tempered chameleons I have, but my ambilobe is my absolute favorite chameleon I have, and for being a WC he is like a puppy dog, always wanting attention from me, I can't open the cage with out him trying to jump on my arm, and getting him back into the cage is tough, it like trying to put a dog outside that doesn't want to go! But every chameleon has its own personality and it can change overnight! Don't get the wrong idea here, he is spoiled just like all my others, but he has learned that when he sees me he get food or get to go outside in his tree to bask in the sun. He is VERY healthy and gets the best of everything, and it looks like that is what you are doing to, the automatic misting systems are great, and they come with 2 nozzle's so that is a great excuse to add another cage. Hope this helps!
