panther chameleon hopefully recovered

choppy Jun 21, 2007 07:21 AM

Hi just wanted tp post an update on my cham that was looking
Bloated (changing shape )and not eating or drinking

Was holding back just t make (did not want to tempt fate) but looks like it has been sorted out with the syringe feeding of the critical care (which I have not had to do for month)

He his drinking eating and pooping well and has lost that bloated shape

I knew you guys feed hundreds of superworms with no probs, but they were the last meal he had before he started acting strangely and he will not touch them now, so do not think I will bother with them in the futures with this particular guy

And on a completely different note they are not as peanut brained as I assumed ,been off work this week and the little guy has worked out where the front door is and keeps heading there until I give in and sit out in the sunny porch with him

Being bullied by a 12 inch lizard

That's good news. Thanks for the update.

I've had a few pea-brained chams, but I've also a few that really figured things out (which cabinet housed the mealworms, which door leads to sun, etc)
