Found my gravid pueblan milk snake earlier this morning. She got down 2 floors in my basement, and was grabbed attempting to crawl up under the fridge. It looks like she is going into her pre egg laying shed now.
Hopefully I'll get a good clutch out of her.

your very lucky, how did she get out ?
She pushed a side of the lid up enough to be able to squeeze her head through, then she squeezed the rest of her body through. Usually I've only had baby snakes pull this off. She was the first adult snake to be able to do this without one side of the lid snapping off.

I make my own wood/screen lids and wedge them down
I use rubbermaid containers.

That is very cool. I lost a sand boa about 10 years ago now. I still have hope though...
