How often do people here weigh their uros? Daily? Weekly? Monthly?
Also, what is a good weight for a Mali that is a year old and mesures 7 1/2" STL?

i don't weight my uros. as long as the tail is thick and healthy i wouldn't worry about it. i talked to doug dix a bit at the daytona show about our malis, who i was a bit worried were overweight (if you've seen pics of ricky, you know what i mean). he said to keep an eye on the rear legs, make sure they don't gain too much weight. lots of uros pack on the pounds on their tummy and take on the whole pancake look. as long as the guys can lift themselves up to run around they're fine.

here's a great big picture of Ricky the porker. i have never seen a mali as big as him before. and on a side note, the neosporin is working and for the first time in years the stuff on his face is almost gone.
